The Glenrothes and North East Fife service was established in 2002, initially starting as part of a discharge plan from a large psychiatric service. Since then it has grown considerably, supporting around 350 people from short term visiting support to 24 hour support needs.

We currently support people aged 16 years and we support people with learning disabilities, mental health difficulties, Huntington’s disease, autism, physical disabilities, brain injuries, dementia, forensic/ learning disabilities and people who are vulnerable in the community.

We employs a diverse staff team of around 220 staff, we are committed to the ongoing training and development of our team. Our training focuses around an understanding of the core principles and values of social inclusion as well as covers the relevant training to ensure that staff are equipped to deliver the right support to people.

We have built up experience and an ability to work across a range of different needs and requirements. We are responsive and flexible in our approach and we pride ourselves on having a positive and a good reputation across the area that we work within.
