Having a 'belter' of a time in Liverpool!
Helping people to get involved, make connections and have fun is fundamental to the support we provide and the values of the organisation.
We recently supported a group of people from our Woodside Service to enjoy a short break in Liverpool. This was especially important to Kevin who struggles with socialising and taking part in events in the service. With the right support, Kevin has now been able to enjoy going on a short break with his friends from the service for the past two years.
Everyone at the service enjoyed visiting the Albert Docks, the Museum of Liverpool, Chester Zoo and listening to some live music at the legendary Cavern Club. There was some time left on the last day for some souvenir shopping before boarding the train and arriving home to relax after their busy trip.
All commented on how much they had enjoyed the trip and shared their different highlights of their time in Liverpool.
