The Richmond Fellowship Scotland will pay its Care and Support staff, including Bank Staff, the Adult Social Care Living Wage of £9.30 for day time hours with immediate effect from 1st April 2020.
Additionally all Care and Support Staff, Bank Staff and Senior Support Workers (who are delivering services i.e. not at home in isolation for more than 2 weeks) will be paid a laundry allowance of £50 per person in recognition of the extra cost involved during this time of delivering services.
This is a £2m plus commitment and we believe this is the right thing to do at the right time.
We appreciate the efforts of our staff who are delivering vital services.
