A breath of fresh air!
Martin who uses our Shared Lives Service in Perth has been spending a lot of time getting used to the many changes since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic which has been causing a lot of stress and anxiety in most people. To ensure they are keeping safe and following Government guidelines, Martin has been working closely with his Shared Lives Carer to look at ways to utilise their time together out with the house.
Despite our ‘wonderful' Scottish weather, Martin is ensuring he is looking after his physical and mental health by getting his daily exercise and enjoying walks round the local parks. Studies show that physical activity can enhance your mood, wellbeing and energy levels by reducing stress, anxiety and depression.
