Celebrating success in the East!

The people we support and staff in our Midlothian, West Lothian and Edinburgh services recently had great cause for celebration!

In recognition of receiving straight 5's in recent Care Inspectorate inspections, the Midlothian, West Lothian Outreach and Edinburgh teams were delighted to be awarded Glass Houses from our CEO, Austen and regional Executive Director, Michelle!

In Edinburgh a small celebration and presentation ceremony was held, and Alan from our St Clair Street service was supported by Support Practitioner, John to attend.  Alan enjoyed seeing everyone there, and especially his good friend, Area Manager Kelly, so he took advantage of the opportunity for a photo and a catch up.  Alan and staff are looking forward to the glass house coming to St Clair Street soon, after it has spent time in the other services.

And celebrating in our Livingston Office, Eve, Jordon, George, Ruth, Kathleen, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Abi, Kelly and Phil were on hand to accept their award at their own small celebration and presentation ceremony!

"Thanks to everyone for their hard work in the last year, that resulted in receiving 5’s in the West Lothian, Midlothian and Edinburgh services.  A lot of work has gone into this from Team Managers down to frontline staff to allow this to happen. It was a pleasure to receive the feedback from the Care Inspectors at both feedback meetings and to hear their heartfelt observations about the difference our staff make to the lives of the people we support.  I appreciate the work by each and every colleague in these areas".
