TRFS wins RoSPA Health Care Sector award
The Richmond Fellowship Scotland has been awarded the prestigious ‘Winner in the Health Care Sector’ by RoSPA.
This award was presented at a ceremony celebrating the RoSPA (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) Awards 2016.
Tony Priest, Health & Safety Advisor, received the award at the Glasgow Hilton Hotel. Tony said, “This award is testimony to the commitment from all members of staff throughout the organisation and their hard work in achieving excellence in Health and Safety and without them we would not have been able to gain this award”.
Karen McDonnell, head of RoSPA Scotland, congratulated The Richmond Fellowship Scotland on their success in winning the award and commended TRFS on their achievement.
The award recognises an organisations’ commitment to continuous improvement in the prevention of accidents and ill health at work, looking at entrants’ overarching health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
RoSPA awards are sponsored by NEBOSH (the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health), and is the largest and longest running occupational health and safety awards programme in the UK.
