Marking Mental Health Awareness Week
Launch of new online resource to help us manage stress
TRFS is marking Mental Health Awareness and Learning Disability week in a variety of ways both locally and nationally. A report launched this week by the Mental Health Foundation looks at the prevalence of stress in the UK and the impact of this. The wellbeing of the people we support is fundamental to the work we do however it is equally important to look after our amazing staff, as without them, people would not get the support they need. We recognise that managing stress can be a challenge; with this in mind we are launching a new online resource. This e-module will give people strategies to improve their ability to process stress and in turn, help improve their mental health and wellbeing.
