Austin Booth
Austin is an Occupational Therapist, and has worked across the NHS, private healthcare and a number of charities since 2004. He was awarded a clinical fellowship for leadership by the London Leadership Academy, completing the Darzi Fellowship with a PgCert in clinical leadership. He then went on to complete a Masters of Public Health in Glasgow and supported the Public Health England network for allied health professionals who have a specialist interest in public health. He has worked at national levels in both England and Scotland for the NHS in the areas of education, quality improvement and quality of care. He holds certificates from John Hopkins and NHS digital in the areas of patient safety and clinical risk management.
In 2017, he became a clinical expert advisor for the health innovation network, and regularly supports their digital accelerator programme. He has also lectured at London Southbank University and Glasgow Caledonian University to develop new Occupational Therapists in the profession. He has trained in advanced supervision and coaching and currently supports the council of deans for health coaching programme for future leaders.
Outside of work he is a bookworm, keen runner, cyclist and motorcyclist.
