Our services
We have developed an expertise in supporting people with a wide range of care and support needs, with considerable experience in providing services to individuals with mental health issues, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, older people (including dementia) and complex needs.
We are unique within social care in Scotland in having a Positive Behaviour Support Team, who support our staff and services to work with people with complex behaviours and additional support needs.
We have also developed various service models for individuals. We continue to develop new Services and reconfigure existing services in response to individuals, planners and commissioners.
Our approach
We work in partnership with the 28 local authorities in Scotland, providing structured support that is designed to be flexible to respond to individuals changing needs, to be unobtrusive and person centred, whilst being measurable and accountable.
Our services are managed in terms of timescales, resources and the expectations of those involved. We have a project management approach that allows staff to deliver consistently and to deal with any business contingencies that may arise.
Our staff
Our success has been achieved through our management and staff we have in place at national and local levels.
We firmly believe that having well-trained, dedicated and supported managers and staff in place is critical to ensuring we can develop, implement and deliver the kind of services the individuals, family members, carers and commissioners of services want. Our infrastructure enables us to meet and exceed requirements of services.
Our results
Through our work we have gained significant expertise and consistently demonstrate that we can:
- Deliver to deadlines
- Orchestrate excellent partnership working arrangements
- Utilise our organisational infrastructure
- Adapt our provision to the needs of different groups of individuals
